Tainted Love
You found me damaged and lost,
You left me the exact same way.
I bought your love no matter the cost,
you sold my love and gave it away.
I painted you as a masterpiece,
You tore my painting to shreds.
Our time together was like a forged lease,
I laid illegal and vulnerable in your bed.
You stripped me of my imagined security,
You left me addicted and strung out.
You tainted and dinged my all white purity,
Until darkness was all I could think about.
When you finally showed yourself you claimed insanity,
You wouldn't even claim the pain you inflicted.
I finally saw your self serving vanity,
And slowly allowed your memories to be evicted.
Thanks to your tainted love my perception is not the same,
I learned so much about life in your sick and twisted game.
