Suffering from within { Covid-19}

Have you ever been afraid to sleep,
Just because you're afraid...
That you might not see tomorrow?
That you might not wake up and..
see the beauty of the world,one more time?

How am I supposed to be happy,
When some people out there are suffering?
When some people sleep with empty stomachs,
Just like they have lost their jobs?
And I can't even lend a hand to them,
Because..I'm also suffering from within.

How can I sleep knowing very well,
That many people out there are dying..
Because of this contagious disease?
It has taken many souls...
Living me wondering, who is next?
Living me wondering,where we have gone wrong
to be punished this way?

Children's are suffering...
Crying has become a song, day-by-day...
We don't know peace anymore,
Laughter has somehow vanished into thin air,
Leaving us hopeless,
in this mysterious world!
