The Confession (Canto I)
Thou, of heaven’s wings doth the beautiful ones envy,
Beheld in mine eyes with too true of wonder,
One with unusual height and intensed, too pretty from beyond yonder,
even from where it’s impossible for me to see, thou now beheld as belov’d by me.
Yet friendship possess’d borne first than my admiration, lo and behold,
tis friend willing be in thy hell,
be burnt with thee as demons flee from thy strength, and, I’ll say, from thy heavenly beaut.
Ne’er shall thou walk among flames alone, for tis vassal walks with thee,
Tis friend thou hath gain’d, loves thee (yet not limited to) my most belov’d friend.

Thy wonder rises above mortals,
though thou be one, yet thy soul surpasses goddesses,
As thou walked upon earth while possess’d by perfection, born as a mortal seraphim, thou be called, a miracle,
amorevolous maiden from my yesters,
fix’d upon when the deities gifted beauty,
in face and soul and skin and bones,
as I stand unmov’d, in awe of thy wonders,
and I’ll stand with you, unmov’d, ridding thy mind of worries, purging thy horrors together,
ne’er shall thou be alone again.
