I don’t have to be told you have made things clear,
I can read clear between the lines in which you have drawn
And I see clearly what you are all about.
In all I have seen I hope I am wrong,
But I have got to move on in life,
The man’s eyes are not deceitful there’s hope
In a brighter tomorrow we all know that. 
I wonder if I should feel this way,
An exit from a woman like you,
Would mean there is no other, worth being with,
In all my years I have not met a woman like you. 
But If you feel I should just take that turn,
On the next street I'll be hardened in my heart,
Then we’ll know what is left in thee,
The sun smiting us might just bring us back
To where we started. 
In between the line lines man would have to sort,
Yeah the meaning the lines hold back,
It’s not easy to sort when these lines are written in
The handwriting of another.
