Eyes so alluring and lovely.
Even every part of you I believed,
Were as captivating and sunny,
Everything I perceived

My cheeks turned scarlet ,
And I felt my heart beat.
Telling myself to forget it,
Coz I’ll only be the girl in the back seat .

Your maroon toned suit ,my mind in a daydream.
So close to you , knowing ,
I’d again be in my bed crying and knowing it’s all a dream.

Yet the thought of love being red …slowly turned maroon ,
And all those summers …Ive loved you,
turned to winter so soon.

As winter’s chill crept into my heart,
The maroon love fades away like art.
Accepting the seasons, I move along,
Yet this unrequited love story will always play in my mind like a song.
