everyone I loved I've loved in vain
it tortured my mind it caused much pain
it had me believing I was going insane,

Then I met you and you turned it around
you lifted me up and picked up my broken heart from off the ground

You dusted it off, put the pieces back together you kissed my cheek and made everything seem better

You've shown me kindness you've shown me love you can make my day better with one of your hugs

I love when we are together I never want it to end I love that we have become such close friends
