everything that was mine
has with time
learnt to leave me

life full of petty lies
sugarcoated with fake smiles
even I don't believe me

everything took its turn
and now I run
but there is no one to chase me

I break the broken ties
see through their cries
and now they cant face me

all that I took as gold
has turned grey and cold
and I throw it away

shed a few angry tears
I was used all these years
but now I find my own way

all our friendships and love
was not enough
so they turned their faces

so here I stand with a smile
above all that was mine
how fast everything changes
