The Fallen Tree 🍃
As the morning comes,
I set my eyes
upon the rising sun
with nothing to do,
I found rest in the meadow
I knew a tree once stood so tall
Its branches were reaching for the sky
And with each passing year, it grew so fast
But one day, the winds of change,
Blew with a mighty roar,
The tree fought so hard
But unfortunately,
it could not withstand the storm
The birds cry for the falling tree
And sorrows engulf the sea
the great tree lies fallen,
on the ground, a lifeless form
no longer able to provide
shelter for the creatures
that called it home
The forest mourns the loss
of this gentle giant that
once stood strong,
though its body may be gone
Its spirit lives on, in the memories
of all who knew it and the seeds
it left behind to carry on.
