Villainous minds schemed
Fright and sorrow
Heroic hands shamed them
With compassion and unity.

3,000 pairs of wings
soared through fire
Whilst perpetrators
Enjoy their brand of peace
In the eternal furnace

The heroes of red and yellow
Heroes of green
Heroes of blue
This is my tribute for you

Incomparable selflessness
Teached us a lesson of
What humanity is truly meant to be
Gratitude for showing humanity
How a kind heart should look like

Stepping forward with a trembling heart
Skin cold with uncertainty
Wondering if their eyes would get to see
Tomorrow's sunrise

Valor is stronger than steel
Empathy is stronger than hatred

The world in unison ridiculed the demons
For twenty four hours
And many years thereafter
Joined spiritually to mourn, support and rebuild

What was intended to disjoint
Resulted in global unification
Unseen in all written history

Our real heroes
Rejoice in your triumph
I bow my head down to you all
For I know perfectly that we could not equal
The valiant you demonstrated that day

To those who are amongst us
We salute you
We thank you
We remember you

Those who fell
Live well
In our collective memories
Well deserved infamy
Your sacrifice was unmeasurable
But certainly memorable

Your perseverance earned the respect of millions of souls
May Lord Almighty
Bless your lives
And reward all of you
With the bountiful presents you deserve

May your needs be taken care of
May your health improve
Returning to full health
Better than ever before
May your tables always be filled with food
When time comes to part
May the Lord embrace you all in the heavenly kingdom
Holding you in his bossom

Protect your legacy and testimony
Do not contaminate it with evil deeds

Thank you for your bravery

Fictional heroes will never measure up to you all

That day, you served as agents of hope
Missionaries of benevolence
