they don't care about us
All I want to say is that they don’t really care about us,
Innocent children caught in the crossfire, what’s the cost?
Lives torn apart, dreams forever lost,
A generation broken, their futures tossed.
All I want to say is that they don’t really care about us,
The sound of bombs falling, homes turned to dust.
Every soul left battered, no shelter to trust,
War’s cold grip leaves hearts to rust.
Situation aggravation, anger in the air,
Orphans lost in desolation, burdened by despair.
In the camps, in the streets, a silent war they bear,
Everybody’s obsolete, nobody seems to care.
Bang-bang, the sound of death echoes near,
Shock and terror, their cries disappear.
In the darkness, their pain is clear,
Yet the world turns away, deaf to the fear.
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us,
Children shifted like pinballs, lives left in chaos.
Abused, broken, no one to call,
Trapped in a system where they’re forced to crawl.
Will they live? Will they die?
Innocence fades as the days go by.
Moved from place to place, no safe place to stay,
Forgotten and discarded, left to decay.
War-torn, forlorn,...
