You were a beautiful flower with petals glowing so brightly
A multi colored specimen
Beautiful in looks and your structure carved so elegantly
You were the work of divine art
But you lost your self
All to pleasure from pain
Pain that plucked your petals off
Piece by piece
Till you withered and
Left anguish to those that loved to watch you grow
And hoped to see your zenith
