#YearEndEchoes As seasons change from winter , spring , summer and fall , we reflect on the last 365 days that's come and gone. 2023 Has been a crazy year , from pandemics to wars , a coalition of fears , even President Trump got indicted and rejected by his peers. The Queen of England passed away the prior year and her son took the thrown , but didn't get many cheers. We saw a surge in social media and Tiktok made it clear. That we as a society are lazy and weird. But we're also opportunist when it comes to money and careers. So many businesses got started , now no ones working 9 to 5s , and if another person starts rapping , I think my ears are going to fry. We've gone through ups and downs this year , and we're all happy to be alive , when we think about the great people that we lost along the ride. Lisa Marie Presley , Rachel Welch , Matthew Perry , Tina Turner , Richard Roundtree , Dianne Feinstein , Susanne Sommers , Harry Belafonte , Jean knight , way to many to name , the loss weighs on our heart just the same. So we say a prayer for them and their families and we move on in this game , we call life. Where the object is not to win , but transition through the pain and strife. While trying to find some solace or happiness in a moment. We fill our lives with meaningless material items to give us comfort. We drink , self medicate , travel around the world to get over all the bitterness and the hate , that we just can't seem to smolder. We're all one year older and the adolescents are taking over. I pray they don't lose the respect of their heritage or their cultures. The root of all evil is money , turning everyone into vultures and the music and movies have got out kids our in the streets , carrying firearms like their soldiers. I wonder what God thinks , as he looks down at what controls us. Technology's ever evolving some good , but A.I. will fold us. In the grand scheme of things , it's just another year that molded us , to endure , survive , and look forward to what ever 2024 has got in store for us !
