Sometimes it is best to be in solitude,
To separate from the crowd,
So no one will intrude,
As you mumble tales alone aloud.

Cradled into the lap of Mother nature,
Far from the dazzling city lights ,
Tending wounds, your heart to nurture,
As you discern reality from mirages.

Into the soft whispering stream to swim,
Often you wander away from home ,
So your emotions are not raised to brim,
As you see the glistening pines, where the sun shone.
