Mine
Lonely.

Complicated.
I live each day
Waiting.
He lives each day
Carefully.
I live each day
Losing out.
He lives each day
To the fullest.
I long for a phone call.
He hides to make a call.
I wait for e-mail.
He sneaks an e-mail.
I anxiously read mine.
He nervously reads his.
I know better.
I want better.
I just can't see what's out there
For fear of not finding someone like him.
Or maybe, just maybe,
Fear of Finding someone
EXACTLY like him.
