Love is the ruler of all on earth,
It can't be measured, not true loves worth,
Love is free for you and for me,
But when you talk about true love
Do you really know,
There’s always a cost sometimes even a cruel loss,
If love is not returned after every turn and each coin that is toss,
Then dry your tears because it's time to learn
That love is expensive yet also free,
You can’t always get with the ones you really want to be,
Some people get married thinking they’ve found true love,
Only to discover there’s someone else involved,
And the love they thought they’d found was only one-sided and unrequited,
Now lost with nowhere to turn, the love they gave was never returned,
All the promises of a love for life,
Disappeared and in it's place left to faced with last goodbye,
No explanation for the sudden change and nothing to disguise all the lies,
Only realisation of failing to see the truth in their eyes,
Left alone with only endless hours of heartache and unlimited cries,
And as the summer love turned to rain,
It's clear to see that one never really cared,
It was only a one-sided love affair,
But a love that's lost will always returns
To feed the fire of a heart that burns,
There are two sides to meaningful love,
Filled with ups and downs and a never ending bound as life goes round and round,
Truelove is soft as an easy chair love is fresh as the morning air,
And one love that is shared by two have all the ingredients to last a lifetime through,
Because life is a flower, fading away and we are not destined here to stay,
Love is forever but our spirit is free,
While time is a borrowed gift for you and me!!
