It’s with much importance that I must ask
Where would you like to meet you?
Would it be in a cafe?
Wrapped in warmth as you flow through the words with the rhythm of the jazz.

Should it be in your home?
Comforted in familiarity.
A place you can be protected by your shared self.

Perhaps you’ll meet at the store?
Rushed about with a shared cordiality before disappearing into your own individuality.

Or in a clearing in the forest?
Drunk on something out in somewhere chatting with someone.

Will you greet them with love?
Will you recoil in fear?
Or can it be
as though you’ve already met
Long long ago.
