Lingers still the unbloomed peony
3 days past Lughnasadh
Scurries through the garden’s blooms
A bright eyed, young chihuahua
The honey bees bounce bloom to bloom
To pollinate across Utah
There lingers still, the peony gloomed,
Unbloomed amongst the bedstraw
