People always telling other people what to do
Always having another point of view
Their lack of understanding I see right through
The things you wish they knew
How no one actually knows anything to be true
It's funny to you
This could be a simulation zoo

I look around and see
Darkness spreading wild and free

This is a place of suffering
Different perceptions all smothering

No one right nor wrong
Gives me reasons to write a song
But I wish all this mental noise would stop all along
Music and expression isn't enough for me to stay strong
I don't want pain to be lifelong
Yet this is all I have...
