The Dimming Light
There once was a woman I knew.
Who shown brighter then the sun.
When she walked into a room,
Or entered a website,
She filled it with her soothing light.
The cherished light.
The light that guides and protects.
The light that brings cheer when there is not but sorrow.
The light that melts pain into pleasure.
The light that transforms tears to pixy dust.
My maiden was soon to marry her knight in shinning armor.
Alas this man whom she thought held the keys to her heart.
Instead was taking a sledgehammer to it.
Breaking it apart piece by piece.
Leaving her lost,
Battered,
Confused,
Devastated and alone.
Not knowing who to turn to.
When I finally see the beautiful woman again her light has dimmed
But it still shines brighter then any other.
I do not know it but she is at her wits end.
She is hurting.
I want to heal all her pains.
I want to make her happy again.
So her light will shine bright like once it had before.
She still feels alone,
And still feels she has no where to turn.
All wounds heal with time.
I have some of my own as well.
So I understand.
