Some words linger,
Heavy in the air,
Weight of regret.
Silent secrets kept,
Safe in the heart,
Forgiveness unspoken.
Unsaid truths haunt,
Echo in the silence,
Unseen wounds bleed.
Better to hold,
Untold whispers close,
Than to shatter peace.
In silence, find solace,
In the unspoken, freedom,
Some things are better left unsaid.
