Dear soul, why did you pick this life? Why did you choose the parents that you did? A mother and father who really didn't want you, punished you physically with pain and allowed others to do the same? Even worse while they looked the other way, not wanting that responsibility either.
Why did you pick siblings that also delivered you physical and mental pain? Siblings that caused even worse damage sneaking in behind secreted closed doors and in the dark of night? Siblings who looked the other way?
Dear soul, why, why did you choose to grow up without a mentor? Without someone to look up to? Without someone to guide you? Why did you choose to not have a teacher? Anyone to simply teach you how to live life, the things you would need to get through the easy along with the hard?
Dear soul why did you choose this life, where no matter what you tried you failed? No matter who you loved, you failed? No matter what life you gave, you failed? No matter how hard you worked you failed?
Why did you choose to live a life like this and continue on with it? Dear soul, just how long is the contract of this life and how long before it expires?
Dear soul, why did you sign up for this? How much longer did you sign on for?
If I could set apart myself from the energy that is you dear soul, I would tell you that I'm angry with you, (I'm angry with myself), for choosing this life before I came into being.
Dear soul, can't we take it back? Can't we start over or are we doomed to continue this until our expiration date and we choose another new life? Dear soul, why did you pick this life?.... why did I choose this life?
