I don't remember the day since I last smiled
Was it the day when I was still eight?
When everything was going my way.
I couldn't figure out life
But it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me
It was a sunny that day
Rays were making their way through the leaves
I watched them strike my face
As I called on to her,"mom"
She came running to me
She gave me a hug
She had never done that
I was really surprised
She showed me love
That she had never showed to me
She took me to ice cream
I really enjoyed that day
Not knowing that it was my last day to smell her scent
She disappeared into thin air
She was never found
I really cherish that day till now
Although my heart is filled with sadness
It covered my heart
I will always remember mom
Wherever you are
I love you
