Everything was looking good
But the reality was hidden under the hood
The rain was pouring down slow
And The dawn was setting low
Winds were blowing as if panting
And the trees could be heard chanting
Standing far , she was waving and smiling
Adamantine , veiling her pain and beaming
They were able to see the glint in her eyes
But none was able to go beyond and
Catch on to the nothingness that hid in her eyes
She felt happy and shattered altogether
Realizing that the people she thought
Never really belonged to her and were farther
Was just disappointed, and not surprised
Cause she had all that anticipated
But pretty tough , she was never haunted
Bidding her farewell to everything
She confided herself to no-thing
Turning from a flower to a log of wood
She tried to do good , be good , feel good , pretend good , say good , hide good
And as
Everything was looking good
The reality was still hidden under the hood
