falling in love
falling in love can be both wonderful and torturous,
the whole concept of love has various definitions,
just chemicals in the brain, a pull from the heart...
but we don't seem to ever rise in love,
we don't say "rising in love"...
there's that idea in the fall,
you give that special someone everything you have,
you give them your all...
you want to see them smile,
and you walk every mile...
but for what?
they don't seem to notice anything you do,
everything you gave and lost and you say "But it was all for you",
but they go on, pass by and leave you feeling blue,
even the term "crush" has the same meaning too
