My Life
This is about a boy whose life got turned around
Used to always chill with friends and never back down
Finally got caught and finally got arrested
What he didn't know was he was being tested
When he got out there wasn't much he would say
We all found out that he was moving away
No longer with his girl starting fresh and New
Heading down south and no clue what to do
The bus finally stopped he arrived in Martin County
Took a deep breath and walked away proudly
He moved to his grandma's who lived in Indiantown
Every single night he had to sleep on the ground
Always thinking about the life he left behind
Now it's just a memory imprinted in his mind
It took three months he's no longer upset
I guess the whole time he was planning to forget
Then he moved again when things were going great
He moved to his aunts who lived in Golden Gate
He was good for a week until he had to work
With his aunt's husband putting up with that jerk
Shedding so much blood things seemed to be so cruel
Until six months went by they finally enrolled him in school
He goes to Martin County he's in the ninth grade
No more blood being shed no longer getting paid
Met some new friends started hanging with a crew
Getting into fights and robbing people too
Suspended from school to many times
Wondering the streets committing many crimes
Two months later barely standing on his feet
His aunt couldn't take it she threw him out on the street
He moved to his uncle's who lived in Salerno
That's the last place he thought he would go
Chilling with his cousin every night at the park
Even though he had a curfew to be in before dark
That didn't matter he was never really home
Even when he was he was always on his phone
No one really knew what was going through his head
They didn't even care about a word that he said
Another eight months things seemed to be in motion
Until his uncle kicked him out now he lives in East Ocean
Sick and tired of always moving around
At first he's doing good then his life crashes down
Will his luck change well nobody knows
Trouble seems to follow him wherever he goes
One day things will change no more brutality
This is how it is this is his reality
Don't Forget his name he goes by JT
If you didn't know that boy was me
