A Goodbye poem.
A single mother raising Her children.
by herself. A child crying for a alcoholic
father, tears in her eyes day and night.
In her crib full with Teddy bear's around the frame. As He didn't give a shit, about
me will if he did. he would never cranked
up the car drunk. As I feel the swerving
in My mother tummy. hitting the bumps
in the road. As I felt a hand touching, on my
mommy tummy.
As their was red and blue light's that
lighten up behind us.
As the paranoid man kept driving, yelling
saying I'm not going to jail. As the cops
speeded up on his tail lights , As a child was excited about seeing the lights he started jumping up and down.
Not knowing it's not good for the parents. As the pregnant girlfriend say hunnie just pull over my stomach hurts.
As he stared in seen the stomach barely
moving like it usually do. As he finally
pulled over on the whites lines, the resting area on the side of the road. As their was
three police cars behind the man.
As a man in uniform approach the the Suburban, As the man was very upset
seeing the children. As he on the driver side of the car. Sir what the he'll was you doin back there sir. As the
drunk man said driving drunk and enjoying myself. As the cops held his composure with the drunking man.
Let me see your driver license. Car
insurance. As the man said I have either.
Sir get out of the car now, as he stumbles
Get down on the ground now. A bottle of Vodka fall out of the car. As the man on the ground telling his girlfriend to stay calm everything will be alright. As the police officer approached the pregnant woman in the passenger sit. As he said ma'am why are you with this man
in this conditions. As she replied I love him. As the police stared at the pregnant woman. and ask have you been drinking ma'am, as she replies no. As the cop replied I could arrest you for in danger
of an child. As the mom was shocked of what she was hearing. she replies I didn't know that. As the cop replied I'm give you a warning next I will arrest you.
As the mother keep her calm. and knotted her head, As the sister in law pull up hollering at her brother. as the suburban
was towed, and the lady give us a ride home. What a night, cranky kids yelling
and screaming. crying for there drunking
father. As the night was late she calmed the kids down, feed them and sent them to bed. sitting up in tears eating some
blue bell ice cream.
