After a long day
I saw myself in the mirror
Looking so cheerful
smiling on each corner
From cheek to cheek
But for a moment I look at my eyes
And saw the tiredness inside
With teary eyes
Begging me to let it go
like a river flow
From staying still to crashing like waves
I've weaved myself something like that
To be strong as steel and rock
for the longer I hold on
Then let myself become weak
vulnerable only when I'm all alone
Then again
with the tears on my face
I look in the mirror at myself
with a smile on my face
Telling myself you did it all over again
Be proud you're strong
And this cycle goes on
I don't know for how long!... © joy
