Time.

Time is all we have and yet every second
of each day we lose it

little by little.

Time it's a blessing
we are able to wake up to it each day even have it to hold as we sleep and still

we take it for granted anyways.

Time.

It's such a beautiful thing
loyal
always somehow here to stay

still we sit on it and live our lives
not caring sometimes to find those words to say

the ones that make it all right
simply because it's the hard way

we waste it
and sleep selfishly

to live to have it another day.
