And then there were none

Ferverent prayers to heal
The child in great distress
Waking at odd hours
Some goals n aspirations
A final alarm to leave

As I start a daily commute
I see the road the cars
The cab rattles my sesnses
Potholes bumps cracks galore
Equanimity a far cry second gear
On tyres not air resolute

Very soon private concerns
Meld into oblivion as the city rises
Flanked in smog fogged towers
A weather depression a cement residue
A realm of disbelief around
An Azkaban to my Potters

Will I lose all sensibilities
In grey white tones
Albeit it may be a fair town
Far from wars of other worlds
I looked beyond the bleary sea
And then there were none
