Dressed in royalty ,
Flaunting their shiny armour,
Fearless and Upfront,
Even their shadows don’t stammer.
Warriors were all about gauntlets and shields,
Capturing every territory, attacking every field.
Today, dressed in PPE's,
Holding cotton swabs in hand,
Fighting the pandemic united they stand.
This teeny fellow creating a havoc,
Wiped out thousands of the most evolved.
Outburst is deadly,
But still has a thin barrier,
Guarding us are today’s real warriors.
Soon the Covid cases will return to zero,
Thanks to all the warriors and special one ,
To our real hero.
Our stern and strong Dads are now the actual Iron Man,
Everyday they come up with their own master plan.
Not letting his kids go out of the house,
Well he is also looking after his beloved spouse.
Not to forget his senile yet energetic mother,
He also has to cover up expenses for his brother.
Work from home is pure soul slaughter,
Plus he has to attend class meetings for his daughter.
Now work is 24×7 and stress is exponential,
Time’s really testing their tolerance potential.
Heading out in home style PPE,
He believes this technology is corona free.
Still he searches for stores elsewhere,
Just to buy his son his favourite gummy bears.
He too risks his life every other day,
I thought I could thank him in this way
