i'm not a fighter
i'm a writer
stating that was my last act
before i pick up the pencil like a sword
knowing the people get bored

so i write down the fact
that this fight is pointless
suddenly they listen
their eyes on me are countless

and as i reminism
the world we had on those pages
their swords become weightless
and the fight is over as my pencil breaks

like the souls left behind
they'll never awake
because i didn't choose to write
the truth is i choose to fight

yet i'm a writer
not a fighter
