So, we have promised to be
Two lovers always near
In life and in sadness and grief
We'll be there to hear
But lately, the world has been
In a place of disarray
And despite our love, we struggle with each
Another day
The world is never far
From tears and pains,
But with each other we are strong
We fight these storms with our hearts and our brains
And come out on this other side
We'll walk away with our love alive.
