What it should have been
I like what love should be, but i do not like what it is.
It should unsheathe you, yet cloak your vulnerability.
It should be like plunging into the void yet with waiting arms to break your fall
It should be a tempest yet a still in the storm.
Instead it opens you up & leaves your soul gaping.
It throws you in the void & watches you fall into the jagged trap beneath.
It roars a storm and batters you until you are weary.
I do not like what love is by the definition of humans.
