Endless highways of misdirected means,
To walk along the lonely street of dreams,
To live in a world where nothing is as it seems,
And take pursuit of pleasure to extremes.
Penury masked with borrowed silvery silk,
Sanity proven only in cracked mirrors,
Safety and decency only under disco balls,
Flaunting copious wealth that is never there.
Intelligence for the heavy pocketed ones,
A fanciful world preaching freedom and all,
Fanatical advocate of equality and justice,
Forced and faulty comfort is all that is true.
Enjoying every bit of life's daunting adventures,
Caring less of the double sidedness of life.
