I lay there,
staring at the brightness surrounded by darkness.
The Galaxy.
My eyes gaze upon it's hypnotizing beauty.
The stars are aligned.
My heart beats faster
As they get brighter.
The moon.
It's right in front of me.
Not for long.
This night sky is relaxing, yet temporary.
I've seen many night skies before but never anything like this...
