One day was all I asked for,
to finally be free and loved.
He came, he went
that was all.
There went my heart,
there went my soul,
there went my freedom.
There went everything I had ever hoped for or wanted.

Why didn't he want me?
Why didn't he stay?
What could of I have done?
I don't know.

All's I know is that I'm alone
and all's I want right now is to stay alone,
no more hurt,
no more wondering why.

It's just me now
and that's how I want it to stay.
