Turn every page till you reach the end,
Read every word before you press 'send'

Something I will never get used to,
It just feels nerve-wracking each time I want to.
If pressing send would open a door for me,
I would cry cause it could never happen in my dreams.
If not pressing send means let life decide,
Then I'm fine with waiting in the shadows, till we get a chance to see each other rise.

But you won't see me,
And I won't see you.
I'm so curious though...
Are you still happy in love?
Of course you are,
You found a love that's maybe never worth letting go off.
And I don't blame you, it's something I'd like too.
But when I saw you for the first time and I just knew,
It could never be a dream, and definitely not like the love of yours.

So in the shadows, I will wait till life shoots a star my way and maybe if life decide, let that shooting star be you.
