HELP MEET - My Holy Spirit
"Will I get me up
From this fallen state?"
I asked myself.
"Though my mind is up against me,
Fighting so hard to keep me down.
Yet will I not give in".
"You really can't make it".
"You don't seem like it". He says.
And that's how he keeps breaking my bones,
Aggravating my doubt and unbelieve.
He keeps screaming to me
All of my defects and lacks,
My weaknesses and imperfections.
But I know I can get up.
Oh.
I really wanna get up.
But I have a sprained ankle
And feeble legs.
I do not believe in me.
My realities are flying away from me,
And my dreams are blurry.
Since my mind is against me,
How then can my eyes see good?
But these words my mind speaks ain't true.
Jesus says otherwise,
I know this somewhere inside.
Yet, He stands quietly, right beside me,
Watching and waiting.
He sees me struggling to...
