She says behind a smile.
Although no words could be heard,
Just the intensity of her easy-to-go-unnoticed request.

Knowing it's a losing fight
I try to barter
And without flexing the muscles
I show I'm a man,
Or half of it, you know,
"Gotta go back to the gym!"

But, how can I deny
That cute face!
It's as if I had a 3d printer
And an android template.
"Programmed the shit out of it!"
And made her my soul mate.

The thing is, she is smart!
And it makes sense.
And at home,
Besides my shrine,
She owns the whole place!
Not a matter of hierarchy;
I'm like a lion and enjoy the rest.

To her, all the politics,
"Yes babe, and I love you,"
Goes a long way!

And that's her and I,
Two human beings in one place
How many more stories like this exist?

If a couple could do,
Why not all of us?
Families of families,
And cousins of theirs.

Yes, it needs tolerance,
But, it starts with a choice.
That something that flares up in this mind of ours,
That comes as an image of what it can be,
Without reminding that,

Outside of the head,

There are many others alive!

Ok, no one thinks like me,
We all had a whole life of our own.
Now, think of a forest and its roots,
As a society like ours.

So don't get entrenched on the details.
It's a matter or surviving along
No matter the species' difference.
