Thoughts
As long as they lived in my head,
they draped the robes of wisdom.
Then they slipped from my head
and my heart took hold of them,
Surfing on the waves of my heartbeats,
They weaved the wings of love and affection.
Then they flew from the chambers of my heart
And Eyes caught them by their wings.
Baptizing them in the ponds of emotions,
Their wings melted and dripped
From the corners of my eyes onto my cheeks.
Wingless again, they fell.
The tongue caught them, naked, weak, and cold.
Then they slipped from the tongue
Drifting on the curves of my lips
into the air,
The lifeless words,
And from that moment,
They ceased to be mine.
