You were my first love.
You became my god on earth.
Everything about you was so precious.
You're everything I desired.
You gave me a reason to smile everyday.

Nonetheless, you were all acting up.
You never cared for me.
I was one of those people on your checklist.

Can't believe I was blinded by love.
I saw the signs, but I ignored them.
Thought they were some petty relationship hindrances.
My folks tried to warn me.
However, I renounced their warnings of the impending dangers.

Now I'm left in darkness.
And I can't open up to anyone.
I'm afraid they'll judge me.
I'm scared somebody might say I told you. This words hurts me a lot, though it's my fault.

And I can't stop saying I wish I could've listened to them.
I wish I could've listened to my guts.
Now all that is left is the feeling of guilty.
And my heart is full of regrets.
