The trashcan in the kitchen
Has an important job to do
Keeping messes in order
And preventing odours too

It sits quietly all the time
Never complaining ever
Is always available to use
We must always remember

It doesn't require payment
It will never need to be fed
Just calmly opens any time
And it will never need a bed

We neglect our trashcans
We don't care too properly
They exist to serves us well
At least let us make it happy
