Empires fall
All suns rise
As you walk through the ruins arch
The stars I remember in your eyes

Like an ocean
Your hair flowed
Illuminated by golden light
A love of life proposed

Scarlet and fire
Pain and lead
Chaos and men
Your blood was shed

Where are we
Farewells and remorse
Your eyes open
As sin was enforced

Heartless and cruel
Lost wars of old
Sudden your farewell
A hearts song foretold

I kneel beside you
Your skin like silk
Your hand open and alone
Unknowing youve been killed

Your last breath
