Today it has come to an end after a long wait.
It's something I don't want to believe and what I hate.

Things turn out to be weird and unsaid.
Faces and feelings left unread.

It's been a year since we met and my sentiments rendered an epicentre to start from and finish off on her.

That poetry where words once danced, silence behold,
Those characters developed upon her, appear lifeless as they stare back with a story left midway, before it could unfold.

Emotions crushed, broken dreams safely which I had kept
are now scrapped,
waiting to be swept.

Yes, it's been done today, but I'll act as if, it's been a while.
Wounds are fresh, but I'll still manage to smile
