As girls we’re grateful
Everything taken with a grain of salt
With a side of womanly advice
To act nice because they’re just boys
For letting us slide through the cracks
And ignoring our cries
Saying we’re just dramatic
Sometimes it’s tragic how little we want
And how much you punish us for it
How many of us hate pink
Because what will everyone think
But the truth is cruel and dry
No matter what side you’re on
