Time to pick myself back up;
Rock bottom has been around long enough.
Find my drive;
Will to stay alive.
I have not lived long enough;
To say, “I give up.”
Life is rough,
But I am tough.
 
Through alcoholic Father,
Schizophrenic mother;
Multiple drug addictions;
Now also legal convictions.
I am a Jackson
Time to seize action.
My age is 25;
Not old enough to even truly be alive.
My heart has only experienced pain;
God's finally saying the time is here to gain.
All the cracks in this beaten heart;
Is finally time to heal before totally apart.
We all fall.
The pain sometimes makes us want to crawl.
Through the pain we stand up crying;
Do not forget to never stop applying.
I have had to learn it is ok to cry;
If you learn to let that time pass by.
