The door to tomorrow,
opens still; despite the shadowed silhouettes stalking today's end
Burrowed behind the thickest pain,
the looming woes;
regrets, reaching, ready,
to steal your breath
Sorrowful shards leaking down, to sunken depths; suffering,
muted by desolate respite
Vengeful; rattling your chassis until, emotionless, eroded, erased
Tomorrow still comes

Grayscale to coloured arrays, hapless, heaving, harrowing days
Emptied by night, left to judging eyes, abominations, manifestations;
nurturing from each droplet of pain
Veiled the light of hope, masquerading by torturous decline
Hands clasp in prayer, unbeknownst to fates favoured fortune
Trailed by bloodshot eyes, staring wide, wildly darting side to side
Frail, as thoughts to thorns, the brains tragic betrayal

Tomorrow's dawn still rises,
even beyond today's crisis
