In silence, hearts that once entwined,
Now drift apart, no words define,
A chasm grows, where laughter reigned,
The lack of words, a love restrained.

Emotions hide in shadows deep,
Unspoken thoughts, secrets we keep,
A bridge once strong now starts to fade,
As silence sows its icy blade.

Misunderstandings breed like seeds,
In fertile soil of silence, deeds,
Without the light of words, they bloom,
Turning love's garden to a tomb.

Yet hope remains, a flicker bright,
To mend the rift, to set things right,
Let words flow freely, hearts renew,
Communication, love's avenue.
