Growing up in the Caribbean
you always feel connected to the water,
the beautiful sound of the waves continuously crashing
against the sand
the joyful laughter of children having fun,
seeing fishermen bring in
their catches
sometimes you get lost in
thought
sitting under the coconut
trees
sometimes I think the ocean
is a song playing softly,
and all it needs is an
orchestra to
play it's symphony
I guess I'm lost in its song again
