As the sun rises through the trees
Hitting the leaves causing
Light dewdrops to glitter like diamonds,
The forest creatures come to life.
Breathing in deeply the air so fresh
As I watch the grace of small birds
Take flight, soaring through the air,
I feel an ease of tranquility.
Within the serenity of the awakening forest,
My soul becomes one with my surroundings
With the feeling of solidarity, awe inspiring
In it's magnitude and my minute existence
Listening to the forest sounds
Gives new perspective on life in itself
And my presence upon this Earth.
